Job Description
The Graduate Trainee Programme is a structured training initiative designed to develop high-potential graduates into future leaders in the energy sector. Trainees will gain hands-on experience across various departments, including Technical Operations, Customer Service, Finance, HR, and Business Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in structured classroom and on-the-job training programs.
- Assist in key departmental functions under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Conduct research and analysis to support business decisions.
- Work on real-world projects to enhance problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Engage in cross-functional team collaborations.
- Ensure compliance with EKEDC’s policies and industry regulations.
- Provide innovative ideas to improve operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional growth throughout the program.
Job Specifications
- Must have a strong passion for the power sector and a willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of Second-Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit in relevant disciplines.
- 0 – 3 years of post-graduation experience.
- Must have completed NYSC with a valid certificate.
- Age limit: Not more than 27 years old as of December 2025.
- Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to Lagos.
